Bridgeport Man Seriously Injured In Motorized Scooter Crash In Bridgeport: Police
The crash occurred Sunday evening, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 43-year-old Bridgeport man was seriously injured Sunday evening, when he lost control of the stand-up motorized scooter he was riding and fell, according to authorities.
The crash occurred at about 7:25 p.m. in Seaside Park at West Beach in the bike lane adjacent to Barnum Drive, Bridgeport Police Capt. Lonnie Blackwell wrote in a statement.
"The Bridgeport Fire Department and AMR were dispatched and responded to render aid to the victim who was then transported to St. Vincent’s [Medical Center] where he is being treated for serious injuries," Blackwell said.
