Bridgeport Man Shot And Killed Inside 'Illegal' After-Hours Club: Police
The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 31-year-old Bridgeport man was shot and killed early Sunday inside what police described as an illegal after-hours club on the city's East Side.
Jordan Thompson was found critically wounded inside the club, located in the 900 block of Noble Ave., following the 3 a.m. shooting. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
"First arriving officers found numerous persons leaving what appeared to be an illegal club," wrote Bridgeport Police Det. Jeffrey Holtz in a statement. "Bridgeport Police detained possible witnesses. Detectives are investigating the incident."

The homicide marks the city's first of 2026, according to authorities.
