Bridgeport Man Threatened Woman In Milford: Police

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of threatening to harm a woman he was dating, Milford Police said. On Jan. 21, officers responded to a New Haven Avenue apartment on a report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Francisco Soares, 25, of 4th Street in Bridgeport, who is accused of threatening to harm a female he is in a dating relationship with, police said. Further investigation showed Soares to have an active arrest warrant accusing him of failing to respond to a marijuana infraction he received in Bridgeport on April 17, 2016, police said.

He is charged with violation of a protective order, second-degree threatening and failure to respond. He was initially held on a $5,150 bond.
