The Democrat mayor has history with Trump and attended one of his weddings.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Mayor Joe Canim will attend the Donald Trump inauguration.
Ganim will already be in D.C. for the U.S. Conference of Mayors, according to the Connecticut Post. Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton will also be in D.C., but opted to head home at the end of the conference, citing that he was busy drafting a new city budget.
Other Connecticut city mayors are staying out of D.C. with the exception of New Haven Mayor Toni Harp, who may stay for the anti-Trump Women's March.
