Bridgeport Police Search For Suspect In Seaside Park Attack

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A person suffered a wound to the face Friday afternoon during an assault at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, and police are searching for the assailant.

The assault occurred at about 4:40 p.m., and the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the victim reported being attacked by someone with a weapon, though the type of weapon used was not disclosed.

The suspect fled the park before police arrived, and remains at-large.
