Bridgeport Rescue Group Sends Warning About Kittens Used For Dog Fights

The kittens are "painted."

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A local animal rescue group is warning city residents about kittens being "painted" and used as bait for dog fighting events, according to a story in the Connecticut Post.

The Bridgeport Animal Rescue Crew, or BARC posted an image on Facebook Saturday of two kittens, colored two different colors using permanent markers.

BARC said the kittens were marked for betting before dog fights.
