BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Bridgeport Rescue Mission purchased the former Astoria Park Nursing Home on Park Avenue for $2.15 million.
The location will be used as a community care center.
“Bridgeport Rescue Mission has the vision to renovate this building to be the home of a care center which will enable us to expand our capacity to meet the basic human needs of the hungry, homeless and addicted,” said BRM Executive Director, Terry Wilcox.

The organization provides food, shelter, clothing and other services for those in need in coastal Fairfield County.
The building is more than 61,000 square feet. Angel Commercial acted on behalf of the seller and Baldwin Pearson & Company Inc. represented BRM.
