Bridgeport Resident Hits Winning $10,000 Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket
Additionally, a Shelton resident also won $10,000 with a ticket bought in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $10,000 richer this month after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On June 7, Taquilla S. claimed a winning 30X Cash 10th Edition ticket, which was bought at the Shell Food Mart on Broadbridge Road in Stratford.
Additionally, on June 15, Shelton resident George J. claimed a winning 10X Cash 16th Edition ticket, also worth $10,000, he bought at Oasis Market & Deli on Connecticut Avenue in Bridgeport.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.
The 30X Cash game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in February, and as of Wednesday, 73 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. Seventy-six $10,000 second-place prizes also remained unclaimed.

As for the 10X Cash game, those tickets cost $10 each, and the lottery began selling those in May 2022. As of Wednesday, 55 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed.
Overall odds of winning the 30X game are 1 in 3.53; odds for the 10X game are 1 in 3.95.
