Bridgeport Resident Hits Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was sold in Fairfield, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased in Fairfield, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, Barbara C. claimed a winning 30X Cash 10th Edition ticket she bought at Jays Mobil on the Run on Black Rock Turnpike.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in February, and as of Friday, 60 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, 62 second-place prizes of $10,000 were also unclaimed.

More than 1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
