Bridgeport Resident Hits Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The winning ticket was bought in Trumbull, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased in Trumbull, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, Maryjane P. claimed a winning $100,000 Cashword 12 ticket she bought at TJ's Discount Wine & Liquors on Hawley Lane.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in February, and as of Tuesday, 12 grand prizes of $100,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, 47 second-place prizes of $10,000 have not yet been claimed.

More than 5.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
