Bridgeport Resident Wins $20,000 In CT Lottery Scratch-Off Game

The lucky ticket was sold in Orange, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $20,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Orange, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, Dario D. claimed a winning Mega Money 28th Edition ticket he bought at a Mobil gas station on Boston Post Road.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $2 per ticket, began in May 2023, and as of Monday, two grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 6.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.15.
