Bridgeport Resident Wins More Than $54,000 With CT 'Fast Play' Ticket

The lucky ticket was sold locally, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $54,298 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, Lourival C. claimed a winning Fast Play - $10 Stacks of Ca$h Progressive ticket that was bought at Osadia African Hair Braiding on Main Street in Bridgeport.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game costs $1 to $20 per ticket and has rolling jackpots, and offers players a chance to win instantly.

"Odds vary by and during [the] game," lottery officials wrote on the game's webpage.
