Bridgeport Resident Wins Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Prize
The lucky ticket was sold in Plainfield, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Plainfield, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, the lucky person claimed a winning $100,000 Cashword 12 ticket that was bought at the Zanco Shell gas station on Lathrop Road.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in February 2023, and as of Tuesday, nine grand prizes of $100,000 remained unclaimed. Also, 29 second-place prizes of $10,000 have not been claimed.
More than 5.1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
