Bridgeport Students Pepper-Sprayed By Mom In A Wheelchair: Report

The incident led to the temporary lockdown of the city's Bassick High School.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 50-year-old Bridgeport woman, who is confined to a wheelchair because she has one leg, was arrested at Bassick High School Tuesday afternoon after she pepper-sprayed several students during a disturbance, reports the Connecticut Post.

Several students were treated by the school's nurse following the incident, which also resulted in the school being placed on temporary lockdown once police were called.

She was allegedly at the school to discuss the bullying of her daughter by other students, according to the publication.
