Bridgeport Students Protest Principal Put On Leave: Report

Students walked out of classes and rallied in support of a popular principal who was put on administrative leave.

BRIDGEPORT, CT— Students at Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Magnet Campus walked out of their classrooms Tuesday to protest a popular principal being put on administrative leave, according to News 12.

The students rallied in halls demanding to know why the principal has been absent since mid-March. Superintendent Michael Testani told News 12 that he couldn't comment on the matter.

However, he sent out a message about the situation and said he had productive conversation with the rallying students.
