Bridgeport Teen, 18, Found in Possession of a Stolen Vehicle in Orange: Police

Orange police said the vehicle was returned to its owner.

ORANGE, CT — Orange police say a Bridgeport teen, 18, was found in possession of a stolen vehicle in Orange.

Officers on routine patrol on Sept. 10 observed a vehicle drive into the rear lot of a business that was closed overnight, police said.

When officers investigated the vehicle, they learned that it was listed as stolen, police said. Officers stopped the vehicle and took the arrestee, Wayne Jones, 18, of Bridgeport into custody, police said.

The vehicle was seized to be returned to the owner, police said.

He is charged with third-degree larceny by possession and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.

He was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
