Bridgeport Woman Left Kids Unattended While Shopping: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport woman is accused of leaving two children unattended at the Connecticut Post Mall, 1201 Boston Post Road, while she was shopping on Black Friday, Milford police said.

At 4:15 p.m. Friday, Milford police responded to the mall on a report of an unattended child, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Hasenah Alessi, 30, Golden Hill Street, who is accused of leaving two children unattended in the food court at the mall while shopping at Macy's, police said.

The two unattended children were ages 2 and 8, police said. She is charged with risk of injury and leaving a child unattended.

She was released on a promise to appear in court.
