Bridgeport Woman Stole Electricity Using Fake IDs: Report
The suspect used at lease six fraudulent aliases, according to police.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 63-year-old Bridgeport woman was charged with multiple counts of larceny and identity theft in connection with an alleged scheme where she used six fraudulent identities to steal electricity from the utility company United Illuminating, reports the Daily Voice.
Sharonda Chisholm-Ferguson reportedly is a tax preparer who is accused of illegally using the identities of some of her clients in the scam.
She allegedly had been running the scam for seven years, racking up more than $9,000 worth of stolen service, according to police.
