Cause Of Large Bridgeport Fish Death Determined

The cause behind a large fish death has been determined by a state agency.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The large number of dead fist found on the Bridgeport shoreline was due to natural causes and not a man-made disaster, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Larger bluefish chased smaller fish into a stream where low oxygen levels caused by hot summer heat led to death, according to the Connecticut Post.

No cleanup is scheduled, so nature will have to handle the mess.
