Cemetery Manager Arrested After Remains Moved: PD
Old graves were dug up and remains discarded to make way for new graves, police said.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A recently-ousted cemetery manager is now facing criminal charges after police found that she ordered old graves to be dug up to make room for new ones.
Dale LaPrade was arrested Thursday and charged with felony interference with a cemetery. She is due in court Dec. 18, according to News 12.
LaPrade managed Park Cemetery in Bridgeport before family members successfully petitioned a judge to oust her after the alleged scandal.

Police found bones, gravestones and pieces of caskets discarded with new dirt put on top of old graves. Investigators worked with a state anthropologist and radar to confirm sites in the cemetery had been disturbed, according to the Connecticut Post.
