Church Of The Apostles To Hold Inaugural Service
The new Bridgeport church will join in a "unique partnership" with Congregation Rodeph Sholom.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — On Sunday, October 13, Church of the Apostles will hold its inaugural service at 2385 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, home to Congregation Rodeph Sholom, as the two faith communities enter into a unique partnership together.
“We thank God for the warm and generous welcome that Congregation Rodeph Sholom has shown us in this partnership,” said The Reverend Brian Murphy, Rector of Church of the Apostles, “At the exact time our church needed a new worship, office, and ministry space, the synagogue offered us a beautiful solution under their roof.”

The two communities will be each holding their services in the same location, honoring the traditions of both faiths.
“At a time where division is prevalent in our world, we are grateful that we can serve Fairfield County and Bridgeport together,” said Debbie Boles, President of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. “We are glad to welcome Apostles into our space and look forward to many years together.”

Church of the Apostles extends an open invitation to the community to commemorate this partnership on Sunday, October 13 at 10AM. Any and all are welcome to attend. The service will be followed by a kosher lunch reception, with activities for kids and the entire family.
