Classes Canceled Tuesday At Bridgeport Public Schools

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 13, due to the inclement weather expected to sweep through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.

"Dear Bridgeport Public Schools community, due to the forecasted snowstorm, Bridgeport Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13, 2024," officials wrote on the district's website. "Non-essential staff are advised not to report to work during this closure. Essential staff for school closings include facilities staff and security."

Additionally, the city has declared a Snow Emergency and Parking Ban that began Monday night and will last through Tuesday.
