Classes Delayed Friday At Bridgeport Public Schools
Connecticut remains in a deep freeze, according to forecasts.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed opening on Friday, Jan. 30, due to the frigid weather that has swept through Connecticut in recent days, district officials announced.
"This delay helps limit student exposure to extreme cold, especially for those who walk to school," officials said in a statement.
