Close To A Dozen Temporarily Displaced By 2-Alarm Bridgeport Fire: FD
The Colorado Avenue fire was reported on Sunday.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A two-alarm fire at a residential building on Colorado Avenue in Bridgeport on Sunday resulted in the temporary displacement of eight to 10 people, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported in the 4:15 p.m. blaze, and all the occupants of the building were able to get out safely. The American Red Cross is providing assistance to the displaced residents.
Once Bridgeport firefighters arrived on the scene, the second alarm was quickly called in to provide additional fire personnel, officials said.

Firefighters from Fairfield and Stratford were called for mutual aid to cover the firehouses in Bridgeport while crews battled the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s Office.
