There are peaceful ways to show that you dislike something.This historical time period 10-09-2017 Just showed total disrespect for Columbus,our city,our community.There was no need to deface the statue.Vandals tossed red paint on the statue showing total disregard for what the statue stands for.Other COLUMBUS statues were vandalized then in Norwalk.MIDDLETOWN.as well as NEW HAVEN.The real question is why??IF anyone disagrees with something of this nature they could handle it in a more civil manner.What kind of an AMERICAN would deface these statues??IN the future we as a community should be more civilized if we disagree with our governments' erecting statues for this is a sinful act against COLUMBUS,THE CITY as well as the community.
