NOW it seems the dust has settled and we as a society are coming to our senses.The ITALIAN COMMUNITY is on the road to recovery to put the COLUMBUSSTATUE back into its'proper spot at SEASIDE PARK.IN the first place regardless of what ethnic group did not want it there I feel it should never been removed.WHO is in charge of the cities'statues THE CITY or some radical group that does not appreciate HISTORY.I feel as a ITALIAN myself leave COLUMBUS 'S STATUE where it belongs as part of our society legacy.AFTER all this is still a free country.I'M tired of radical groups acting superior and telling others what they don't like.I am proud to be an ITALIAN AMERICAN and feel COLUMBUS has honorable mention in our cities'history.LETS' move forward BRIDGEPORT with respect for those-who came before us.
