Community Meeting Scheduled This Weekend With Bridgeport Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Members of the Bridgeport Police Department will host a community meeting Saturday morning at the Beardsley Public Library, officials announced.

"This is an opportunity to voice your concerns, ask questions, and hear about the changes being made to increase safety, improve training, and build trust in our community," authorities wrote on Facebook.

The meeting, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the library, which is at 1174 East Main St.
