Convicted Bridgeport Felon Arrested in Norwalk with 15 Grams of Pot Down His Pants: Police
The suspect was initially pulled over because he was driving a car without a front license plate.
NORWALK, CT — A 35-year-old Bridgeport man, who police said is a convicted felon, was arrested on weapons and narcotics charges Wednesday night in Norwalk.
Members of the Norwalk Police Strategic Narcotics Enforcement Team observed Jeffrey Slinsky driving a vehicle without a front license plate on South Main Street at about 7 p.m. and pulled him over.
"When officers approached the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the interior," police wrote in a statement. "Once out of the vehicle, the operator, Jeffrey Slinsky, stated that he was in possession of marijuana."

Officers seized a bag containing 14.88 grams of marijuana that Slinsky had hidden down the front of his pants, according to police, and also located a 9mm handgun concealed just below the steering column in the vehicle.

He was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond; his court date was not immediately available.
