Court Plea Entered In Federal Case Of Fatal Bridgeport Overdose
The case involved a dead 40-year-old overdose victim who was dropped off at a Bridgeport hospital in early December of 2016.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 27-year-old Bridgeport man pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to one count of distribution of heroin and fentanyl in a fatal overdose case from late 2016, announced United States Attorney John H. Durham.
Perry Deshazo , also known as "Hov" and "Amafia Hov," has been detained since his arrest in July last year, and is scheduled be sentenced on March 27.
"This matter stems from an ongoing statewide initiative targeting narcotics dealers who distribute heroin, fentanyl or opioids that cause death or serious injury to users," according to Durham.
