Green Party meets with United Nations expert on decolonization

Olga Sanabria Davila will meet with Connecticut Green Party and local residents on Saturday to discuss the ongoing economic and political crisis in Puerto Rico. Ms. Sanabria is president of the Committee for Puerto Rico at the United Nations, which coordinates the annual presentation of Puerto Rico's colonial case before the UN Decolonization Committee. She is founding member of the National Hostos Movement for the Independence of Puerto Rico, as well as the Puerto Rican Socialist Party and its U.S. branch.

There will also be an opportunity to learn about the Green Party's candidates for state and federal office.

The meeting will take place at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 4, at the Black Rock Branch Library in Bridgeport. Free & open to the public.
