CT Daughters Of American Revolution Donate To Dress For Success
The Connecticut Daughters Of The American Revolution chapter donated 200 articles of clothing to mid-Fairfield County Dress for Success.

CT DAR: Connecticut Society Daughters of the American Revolution (CTDAR) recognizes that balancing family, health, and career can be daunting and therefore rallied members across the State so that a donation over 200 articles of clothing could be made today to the Mid-Fairfield Affiliate of Dress for Success.
CTDAR State Regent Christy Hendrie and Corresponding Secretary Elizabeth White-Peters promoted the idea of a clothing drive at Saturday’s 126th Annual State Meeting. The alignment between the two organizational missions to help women thrive in work and in life was a natural fit.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism. Its members are descended from the patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War. With nearly 185,000 members in approximately 3,000 chapters worldwide, DAR is one of the world's largest and most active service organizations.
