DiMatteo Group hires Torres as receptionist

SHELTON, CONN.—DiMatteo Group recently hired Zaibel Torres, of Bridgeport, Conn., as a receptionist in its Shelton office.

Torres has more than 10 years of experience in the financial sector as a client services professional. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, Conn. And, she is a notary public.

In her new position, Torres handles DiMatteo Group’s social-media platforms, including: Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. She also manages the agency’s website and other agency management projects. Additionally, she is responsible for answering phones and greeting clients and visitors.

“Many of our clients are interested in communicating with us via social-media platforms and our website,” said Loretta Lesko, CIC, partner of DiMatteo Group. “Zaibel serves as the front line of DiMatteo Group’s customer service in both the office and online. She will be an integral part in making sure our clients and other visitors receive the attention they deserve.”

Established in 1960, DiMatteo Group, formerly DiMatteo Insurance Service Center, is a family-owned and operated insurance, employee benefits and financial services organization. The agency’s services include personal, commercial, life and health insurance, investments and financial planning and tax preparation. The company is based in Shelton, Conn.
