THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO BY POE is indeed a thriller but not his best work but still entertaining even today over 150 years have passed since POES'death and his works still linger within the relm of the literary world.POES' story here starts off simple enough with two friends discussing the taste of wine.AS the story progresses one of the gentlemen who dispises FORTUNATO decides on burying FORTUNATO alive in the catacombs of the old rustic castle.FORTUNATO is tempted to go to the deep wine cellar with his associate and soon finds that he is going to be die .HIS friend forces FORTUNATO into handcuffs on the wall and is easily locked away as the murderer builds a wall and closes FORTUNATO and confines him in a torture chamber of sorts.The story is spooky to say the least no doubt a masterpiece of horror which of course-POE had a reputation of being the master of suspense,
