Dog Attacks Man, Gets Shot In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A dog was shot after it reportedly attacked a man on Polk Street, according to media reports.

Several 911 callers said a man was being attacked by a dog Tuesday around 5 p.m., according to the Connecticut Post.

The dog was shot and injured during the incident. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
