Bridgeport, CT - The Downtown Cabaret Theatre, led by Executive Producer Hugh Hallinan, is thrilled to announce the opening of the musical 9 to 5 on June 9, 2023. The show, featuring a book by Patricia Resnick, and music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, will run through July 9, 2023. Set in the late 1970s. This hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic. Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss.

The cast includes an impressive line-up of talented performers, including Abby Rozmajzl as Violet, Hannah Beatt as Doralee, Sophie Rundhaug as Judy, BJ Markus as Franklin Hart, Emmanuella Dorcely as Roz, Tyler Panek as Joe and Marty Garcia as Dwayne. The production also includes an impressive ensemble cast, each member bringing their unique talents and energy to the stage.
