AS A professional writer myself I have felt EDGAR ALLAN POE has influenced my writings.Over the years of my career no other writer has fascinated me as much as POE.Even after 160 years after his death I am drawn to his writings for inspirational deep thinking and creativity.POE;s ''THE RAVEN''is a GHOTIC piece that transends its' reader into deep thought .The words in ''THE RAVEN''are very descriptive and a few of them confusing.POES' writings are dark at times creating a world only he really knows and understands hoping to make his readers ponder deep thoughts that take their thinking on a literary journey-only he could create.HIS words were well chosen not written at random I believe but planned out with the purpose of tantalizing the reader and creating an artificial world with his words so descriptive.POE will never be copied for his style is unique and the quality of his works are priceless.
