EDGAR ALLAN POE without question was a literary genius.Over the years since his passing critics have taken POES'POEMS and stories and picked them apart always seemingly that POE was an inadequate writer which is so false.POE had a unique style of story telling like any writer does today.Even myself admit that my novels of horror and mysteries are written in my own unique style never to be copied by any other author I assure you.POE's POEMS also tell a story in a sense if you take the time to pull the stanzas apart and read into the wording like POE intended to be understood.I feel critics who put POES' works down are because of pure jealousy of a man so brilliant ,so ahead of his time,such a great literary giant conveyed his thoughts extremely well in his writings.I enjoy POES works for they inspire me to hone my craft of writing to better write what readers will indeed enjoy and remember me for some piece I had written that touches their-very lives like no other writer has lived up to the challenge of greatness.I like POE and only wish some day that my novels leave a legacy well remembered after I'M gone.A writer is born with the talent to create not trained from a textbook and as long as literature continues we will see others such as POE fascinaie us with their literary genius.POES' memory will be everlasting.
