Myself as a professional author can honestly critique EDGAR ALLAN POES'works and give a straight honest opinion about this unique gentleman no doubt a literary genius.TO me POE created the most ungodly horror stories and indeed should be recognized as the king of horror without a doubt.IF you want to be scared read ''THE TELL TALE HEART'' or THE PIT AND THE PEDULUM ''both of these not only scared me but fascinated me in not only the story lines but the characters were so real like.Indeed POE did it all with his tantalizing stories that could easily cause nightmares.Certainly his stories are not for the weak at heart.The man was a genius no doubt for his writings still are enjoyed so many years later and will continue into the future as a classic set of horror stories like no others for sure.Expand your horizons read POE for if you have not read his stuff yet your missing great classics from the master of horror.
