Fatally Shot Man, 22, Identified By Bridgeport Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The 22-year-old Shelton man who was shot and killed Monday night in Bridgeport has been identified by police.

Kyle Dear was shot multiple times between buildings 10 and 11 of the PT Barnum Housing Complex. The shooting occurred at about 8:30 p.m.; Dear was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Bridgeport police, the investigation is ongoing, and detectives have several leads.
