Fate Of Proposed Aldi Store In Bridgeport Held Up In Court: Report
The popular grocery store is looking to open a store on Main Street in Bridgeport, near the Trumbull border.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Aldi, the popular grocery store with 32 locations in Connecticut, is looking to build a new store in Bridgeport, but a legal fight has stalled the project, the Connecticut Post reported.
The proposed store would be 4675 Main St. in Bridgeport, near the border with Trumbull, but even though the project has been approved by city zoning officials, a nearby office building group is opposing the plan in Superior Court.
The Commerce Park Professional Center Condominium Association is claiming the proposed store would adversely impact traffic in the area.
