Sometimes as I read the great written masterpieces of prose I feel so envious of those great writers who have gone before me and I still feel a connection to these great authors of years ago.I recently saw two films on POES'''THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER''.One was a silent film from [1928] the other a talking movie of late and both pictures fascinated me and encouraged me to delve deeper into EDGAR ALLAN POES' life.HE fascinates me with his imaginary world that tell a story outside the normal settings we are accustomed to.POES' ''THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER''is a fascinating film that takes the viewer deep into the mind of the author.POE tells a great tale and his characters are very realistic.The FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER''no doubt is one of POES' best creations.RODERICK USHER so cunning,so realistic in his presentation.The film is fascinating and interesting.There is not one dull moment in POES' written dramatic piece.I found the characters -two of which were dead already so compelling,so realistic,so emotional moving.POE had really created a fascinating story with this epic piece ,written so well .ALL of his characters come alive on the screen and in time pleasure the seeker of a impressive story of death with a dramatic impact.Any one seeking a great movie that is scary needs to see this but a piece of advise do not see it alone or in the dark for it takes you to a different plateau in entertainment actually takes the viewer to the DARKSIDE from which there is no return.Truly a masterpiece from EDGAR ALLAN POE.
