Firearm, Marijuana And Crack Seized From 3 In Bridgeport Arrests: PD
The arrests occurred Tuesday night on Park Avenue, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A loaded 9mm handgun, several bags of marijuana and some crack cocaine were seized Tuesday night during a narcotics investigation on Park Avenue in Bridgeport, according to police. Three people were also arrested during the incident.
The seizure and arrests occurred after Bridgeport police launched an investigation into what witnesses said were "loitering and narcotic sales in the area of Park Avenue and Wood Avenue."
"On October 11, 2022, at approximately 8:00 pm narcotics officers observed several cars parked on the sidewalk in front of 1223 Park Avenue, individuals loitering in front of the establishment, and individuals loitering in the city street," wrote Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement.

Narcotics officers spotted a narcotics transaction between a man in the street and a man in the rear passenger seat of a Honda vehicle.
"The officers exited their police car(s) to investigate," Gilleran said. "When officers approached the male standing in the street, he dropped a designer bag containing marijuana. This male, identified as 22-year-old Troy Lopes, was detained and patted down for weapons. A 9mm semi-automatic handgun loaded with a high-capacity magazine was found in his waist band. Lopes, a convicted felon from the state of Georgia, was placed under arrest."

The passenger in the rear of the Honda, identified as 25-year-old Norwalk resident Jason Hall, was found to be in possession of numerous bags of marijuana, and he was placed under arrest.
A third person, identified as 34-year-old Bridgeport resident Miguel Rodriguez Ramos, was seen at the front passenger window of the Honda, and as an officer approached, Rodriguez Ramosdropped a napkin containing crack cocaine. He was also placed under arrest.
Lopes was charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Firearm
- Illegal Possession of a High Capacity Magazine
He was released after posting bond on bail of $20,000.
Hall was charged with possession with intent to sell a hallucinogen, and was released after posting bond on bail of $25,000.
Rodriguez Ramos was charged with:
- Illegal Possession of Narcotics
- Interfering with a Police Officer
He was released after posting a $500 bond. All three are scheduled to appear in court at later dates.
