Firefighters Respond To Explosion At Bridgeport Scrapyard

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport firefighters responded Tuesday to an explosion at a scrapyard. The incident occurred about 7:30 a.m. on Island Brook Avenue, according to a tweet from the fire department, which reported an explosion and fire involving a vehicle at the yard. No one was injured.
