Foo Fighters Announce April Concert In Bridgeport

The legendary rock band canceled a planned 2024 performance in Bridgeport at the Soundside Music Festival.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Foo Fighters is making good for having to cancel their 2024 performance in Bridgeport.

The legendary rock band led by Dave Grohl announced Monday that it will play a single concert at Bridgeport's Total Mortgage Arena on April 28.

The April 28 show, which kicks off the band's Take Cover Tour 2026, is the only one the band plans to play in Connecticut this year. In September 2025, Foo Fighters played Toad's Place in New Haven.

In 2024, the band pulled out of a headlining performance at Bridgeport's Soundside Music Festival.

At the time, the band did not give a reason for the 11th-hour cancellation, but Grohl was dealing with personal matters at that point, after admitting that he fathered a child with a woman who is not his wife, as reported by Rolling Stone.

Rockers Jack White and Greta Van Fleet replaced Foo Fighters at the Soundside Music Festival.
