Former KFC Manager - Bridgeport Man - Stole $15K: Orange Police

Orange police say the accused turned himself in on a warrant.

ORANGE, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of stealing more than $15,000 from the Orange-based KFC he worked at as the manager, police said.

Police said Nelson Sanchez, 31, of Bridgeport surrendered himself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for his arrest on Nov. 4.

The warrant stemmed from the theft of $15,070 from the KFC restaurant on the Boston Post Road, where he was employed as a manager in July of 2016, police said.

Investigation led to the issuance of a warrant as listed above. He is charged with third-degree larceny and held in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
