Ganim Governor Campaign Running Low On Cash
Ganim's campaign is running low on funds as the primary battle draws to a close.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim's governor campaign is running low on campaign funds as the primary draws near.
Ganim is down to $173,000, according to the Connecticut Post. If he were to pull a surprise upset against Democratic nominee Ned Lamont it would be he'd go into the general election with little to spend.
The same situation happened to then New Haven Mayor John DeStafano in 2006 after beating Dannel Malloy in the primary. DeStefano ended up getting crushed by Gov. Jodi Rell.
