He is seeking another four years as Mayor.
From Ganim For Bridgeport: Mayor Joe Ganim announced today that his re-election campaign has raised over $100,000 in the second fundraising quarter of 2019 as he seeks another 4 year term as the Mayor of Connecticut’s largest city. This leaves him with over $230,000 cash on hand, representing widespread support from voters throughout Bridgeport.
“Our campaign is funded by the community that makes up our city. This includes many small business owners, real estate professionals, healthcare workers, union workers, and retirees. I will always be a champion for Bridgeport, and fight to get things done and continue moving our city in the right direction.” said Mayor Ganim. “This campaign is about how we build on our progress to develop our economy, create jobs, reduce property taxes, strengthen our neighborhoods, and make Bridgeport a place that attracts young people, families, and new businesses.”
Earlier this week, Mayor Ganim announced that his campaign had been endorsed by the Fairfield County Building Trades. The Council is comprised of 19 local chapters of construction trades.
