BRIDGEPORT, CT — A GoFundMe campaign is raising money in memory of a Bridgeport teen who died last week after a Stratford crash. Destiny Arriaga, 18, succumbed to her injuries after the car in which she was riding collided with a guardrail on Interstate 95 and rolled down an embankment.

The crash occurred after 9 p.m. Thursday, when a driver traveling south on I-95 lost control of a 2003 Honda Accord north of Exit 30, according to police. The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Bridgeport, and a second passenger, an 18-year-old man from Stratford, suffered minor injuries.

As of Monday evening, the campaign, called "Destiny lives 4 ever in our Hearts," had raised about $2,000 of its $10,000 goal.
