Goodwill of Western and Northern CT Welcomes New Board Member

Carmen Colon of Bridgeport, CT

Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut today announced the addition of Carmen Colon of Bridgeport to its Board of Directors. Ms. Colon is the Vice President of all of Bridgeport’s YMCA’s and has received numerous accolades for her leadership and contributions to the community. She is not only responsible for all programming and administrative

Governance at Bridgeport’s YMCA’s, but oversees the supportive housing program at Alpha Community Services YMCA, the largest provider of supportive housing in Fairfield County.

“Ms. Colon is a welcomed addition to our Board of Directors,” Tom Catropa, Board Chair, Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut said. “She is deeply entrenched in the Bridgeport community and has a profound understanding of the services and supports that would benefit its residents. We are excited to have her on our board.”

Ms. Colon holds a BS in Human Services and her Masters in Social Work from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts.
