Ground Broken On Harbor Yard Amphitheater
Mayor Joe Ganim, among others, presided over the ground breaking for Harbor Yard Amphitheater.

BRIDGEPORT, CT - From the City of Bridgeport: Mayor Joe Ganim, Tom Gill, Director of Office of Economic Development, Jim Koplik, President of Live Nation Connecticut and Upsate New York, Howard Saffan, Principal of Harbor Yard Amphitheater, members of Bridgeport City Council and State Senator Tony Hwang presided over the ground breaking for the renovation of Harbor Yard Amphitheater. With phase one completed, the excitement of Phase two: the construction phase, begins. “Now is when the real fun starts. With shovels in the ground, we will begin to see the transformation and devleopment of the Ampthitheater. We are looking forward to establishing a true entertainment district along side the Arena and put Bridgeport on the map for concerts and events throughout the year, both indoors and outdoors” (Howard Saffan).
“The idea of a boutique amphitheater in Bridgeport and Fairfield County is as exciting as anything I’ve been involved in a long time. I’m looking forward to a great summer of concerts every year” (Jim Koplik).
